Defending the columns of the Sacred Oceanarium in Atlantis Above Water

I'm totally stuck. Tried everything to get through this one and can't move forward until I can defend the three columns. Is there a way to do it? I don't want to quit but it seems impossible. Help?

 

Of course there is another way. If you can't do it alone ... do it in group

 

If you are having trouble finding a group, ask for help from your guild. If you don't have one, look for one. Guilds will help you with all sorts of the game's tougher challenges.

If you are looking for help on the forums, it is always a good idea to include your server so that people know if they are even on the same server as you.

Your server is something like Agathon, Tegan, Heredur, etc. It is on the same line as that blue button you press after you log in if you are using the client.

 

Or in the upper left of the web page log in.

 

It should be easy enough to find a group as the quest for the 5th cloak has items needed there. If you are unable to find a group and you are on Agathon I'd be willing to help you...look me up under the character name Chingachgook.

I stuck on that quest too, tried many times but seems for DK its too hard to solo it, probably need a lot more practice with using skills and i still learning so would be great if somebody in Grimmag could help me.

With a DK, it requires timing and careful use of all of a DK's suns. A good choice if trying to solo this one would be to use the 5 point skill on Charge to remove it's cool down when used against bleeding enemies and then use Bloody Wild Swing and Rage Swing with the 5 point bleed skill to make oponents bleed before using your Charge. You end up with a near infinite amount of stuns if done right and the defend should be much easier.

 

I tried Charge but it still needs rage and that is biggest problem, on other way mobs bleeding not long they dieing fast after Bloody Wild swing but biggest problem is to target those small creatures when i'm out of rage. Banner of war helps only in 1 wave (too long cooldown)
Furious battle cry gives rage too for 1 wave, so for others i use rage jump and bloody wild swing, everything would be fine but always happens to miss 1-2 small creatures and they killing statues. Tried about 10 times, probably i could finish it with some luck

 

Or some essence. Maybe it is time to use something a little stronger. Also, look at your Knowledge skills. If you have any points spent on HP during that defend, then switch them to damage since the monsters are more interested in the pillars than you.

 

As baragain says, The monsters attack the pillars. as a DK i its pretty hard to die in a defend quest. First try to distract all enemies by damaging about 1/2 of their health. their aggro goes on you. after theyre all aggro at you finish them Only thunder crest had hard defend quests to solo. atleast for me and 2 others i was talking with.

 

Thundercrest's defend was tough, but it could be done solo with a really strong toon. The only one that I was never able to solo wast the final quest in Stalgard where you defend Fox. That was tough!

 

With purple essence it was quite easy, when mobs dieing in 1hit everything seems easier
