Feels good we finally got answer from last progress bar from anniversary event and now we know that the limit of the levels will be expanded, now the big question lvl 60 or lvl 65 will be the max level ?

i hope its 60 cuz 65 would be too much of a jump and i know people who will quit if it will be lvl 65

Well I don't see the point of a level 65 over a level 60 (except if they release 2 regions).
All extensions have been +5 levels so far so they will probably stick with it.
Moreover, you are quite right about this:
With a level 60 there is still the possibility of glyphing up your current stuff from 60 to 65 (it will cost 10th of billions of glyphs but doable). Some people would definitely be unhappy having to refarm all their stuff.

We still lack a pretty important answer which could guide us before extension comes:
What about plat lines, will they still be the best lines or will new better lines come?
It's a pretty big deal since people are still farming those and it would be nice to know if IDing items and crafting right now is a waste of time and gold (and cores) or not.

We just need a simple answer to the simple question:
"Will there be higher enchantments than the current plat lines?"

( and it would be nice to have an answer before extension comes )

About the event, it doesn't look too bad (sad about gnob hard nerf though).
However we still have to see how grindy it will be (kinda afraid entry farm will be long).

Will the "Rampaging Worms in the Fortress Teganswall" minievent on Grimmag and Heredur be rescheduled because it currently overlaps with the sync of R238?

I'd like to know that how much is the increase for example for weapon idoti(20-25% i quess)?
Also, since I know from trakilaki's answer from that thread that one can also tier up enhancement values. So next question for math heads would be that...
Does it make sense to store i.e 100% percent 2h idoti pink item and try to tier that to similar 100 idoti on lvl 60(or higher)-> What area costs and propabilities.
Same as above for leg items with 2 platlines etc...

I don't quite understand what you are saying, you mean that before, the maximum value (100%) of a weapon's spell was 76% with the gold lines, now with the platinum lines the maximum value (100%) of the spell of one weapon is 92%.

If so, I do not think they will increase the% of the value of the spell, I think it would be a great destruction of equipment that it took a lot of effort to achieve.

If I remember correctly those changes, such as when they changed from damage based on numbers to percentages it was not a level up, and the change from lines of gold to platinum either.

But hey, this is bp, what matters is the box and who knows how they plan to do it, I want to think that they will only level up and leave the spells as they are, but everything is speculation until they implement it and give us joy or the desire to go play something else (I lean towards the second option)

I hope the expansion is with new spells (120% -150%) and lv 65, otherwise it will be too easy to level up.

Because the enchantments are all +x.xxx% (PERCENT) blah blah blah (0-100%) and those values (the 0-100%) don't change from Tiering up or from Glyphing levels up...

(100%) is (100%) no matter what you put it on. So stop worrying.

What WILL go up with the Tiers and LEVELS (and we'll have more levels to glyph for) is the BASE Values and the few Unique "+X.XX" values. The ANSWER is that everyone who has been preparing will add a level (61) or two (62) or three (63) to their equipped gear right off the bat, then go explore the new continent, and in the process level up to the new cap (60) and near their gear level (61-63).

THEN everyone will go back to PWs, the OldWorld, and the next events and eventually get higher level drops of what they have, soul core (we'll finally have use for these pita cores) their enchantments over, and move the glyphs to the new items and once again have level cap with item level cap gear.

Remember, your not lossing the Glyphs you already have in gear. It will move over just like the Enchantments.

It's really nothing to stress over... or get yer panties all bunched up over... or wig out over.

Me?? I've been preparing and have nearly 600 million spare glyphs. I look forward to the level cap rise. I could really use the extra 5 experience skill points. Even better to get 10. But I'll be happy with just 5.

    *do-doo-dudo* Don't worry... Be happy *doooo-do-doo-dadoddle-do*

I was playing this game all the time five years ago when the level went from 45 to 50. My main char was a DK and he never recovered. I was not able to solo the dungeons like I could before. It was very painful. Most of my friends quit the game. I played a mage for a few more months and quit entirely for over a year. I started playing the mage again a few months before the level went to 55. After that I needed to farm for all new equipment as it was not possible to level up all the equipment I already had. I play the winter event and some of the other events for as long as they are fun, but it just isn't like it was five years ago. I'm just saying don't get your hopes up.

This. This should be (It won't) taken seriously. I first brought this up about 2 years ago, and again about a year ago and I think it has merit. I understand ANY level cap increase nerfs us all. I get that ahead of time so let's put it into perspective of how things stand today.

BP knows they can only milk so much from the event attires and their other slick scummy ways and so they take the tri-annual easy way out of bumping up the cap by 5 levels. This enables them to turn in a ridiculously lightweight expansion (From what I have seen, each CE has less actual content than the one which precedes) and in typical lazy fashion, but another 2 years while the highest tier end gamers get to the new cap, and fairly quickly proceed to end game status once again. This is maybe the top 10% of players. Then there are those like myself, and probably another 30 to 40% of players that are at mid endgame status, so the CE will push us back by 2 to 3 years. It is in their business model. And this isn't just true for BP; most all other MMORPG's rely on this model of small cap increase every to 3 years with a large CE. Get that part? A LARGE CE. Not one that can be completed in 2 weeks. This is also the reason BP needs to make the level cap 100, and make the exp requirements for levelling very high. If this happens, and they are willing to put in the effort of developing the game instead of robbing, cheating, stealing, and lying to and about the players, they could release CE iterations that will keep people satisfied. Think about it, if the game was based on content and story and new maps to explore, instead of the same end gamers running the same boring maps over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over with the only interlude another round of wallet opening disguised as an event? People might actually spend money here, freely, and enjoy themselves while doing it. Imagine if BP produced a quality product, that people enjoyed, and wanted to pay for? It would be like a free market or something. And if it is garbage, people don't buy.

I know this will be ignored. I suspect more than 50% of players disagree with this angle and BP won't even consider it but I feel it is one of the few ways to give some life to a game that is, as everyone knows, on its dying breath.

Speaking just for myself, I would really love it if punching the clock (Logging into DSO) was changed from the current log in, get frags, get cores, run run run, get distracted by an event for the few things I need so I can get back to my hamster wheel of slow progress that it is today. It won't happen, and after this, astronauts will walk on Mars before there is another CE (if this game still exists) but don't worry, you guys might have Destructor to waste your time on or some new skins to buy. Heck, there may even be a new Premium priced event attire that gives you 2% better drop rates over the standard event attire. Might want to cancel your Netflix so you can afford some diapers and pay for the masters.

As for the R238 I will reserve judgment until I play it but with all the honey tongued crap I read in the release notes about player feedback and bug fixes, you guys better strap in tight; I suspect this one will be a doozey.

I know and, as DK, I will suffer more than other classes in a new level cap
My hope is that they have changed the system of levels / wisdom / skill & talents that could compensate for everything.

Anyone that has played the previous expansions, will know we are going to be nerfed.
How bad this is we will have to wait and see.
Being end game player for a long time, I have given time and effort to fix my character time and time again.
    When we went from 50-55.
That was when I realized that the time you need to give this game was affecting my real life.
So I have given up on it and play when I can be bothered now.
For the new players that have busted your holes for the last 2-3 years getting gold/plat lines at 55, be prepared for heart break.
I can only hope that they do not make us start PW's from the start again. As this is getting old.
Completed them at 40, redid them at 45 and from memory had to do them again at 50.
Gut feeling about this expansion there will be another mass exodus of players from this dying game.
    PS on a side note
One way you could improve the game is by making it that every player in the game can only raise there items by 5 levels like end game players.
This would considerably help any new players you manage to attract to the game stay.
As they won't be facing Field Marshals at 20-30 with level 60 items.
Just a suggestion.(I know it won't be taken on board because most of the spenders have low level mentors)

It must be really embarrassing when after 5 years you still haven't fixed the bug :) which BTW is not related to the event but to the entire game.
