Error opening file for writing (DSO setup)

    Well two days ago i saw that a new patch was available (patch 199) and tried to patch it in order to play . While the game was installing a message appeared : Error opening file for writing: C:Files\Drakensang Online\thinclient.exe . Since then i couldn't run the client. Any type of information that can help solving this matter it will be appreciated. (Sorry for not speaking English fluently)

    Hello @ThrProGamer, and welcome to the EN forums!, please have a read at our forum rules as one of your first incursions in this lovely place. ;)

    Regarding your issue, we can try these steps for a start: uninstall DSO completely and clear your DSO temp folder, after that, perform a fresh install and make sure to run everything as administrator, please try it out and let us know the results, best regards. ;)
